About Austin Raleigh
Austin Raleigh has been playing baseball 8 years. His dedication to hard work and is inspiring to watch.
I am a die-hard Red Sox fan, and I grew up watching them battle the Yankees with my dad. My father said when I was three years old I use to grab my bat and stand in front of the TV and swing at every pitch. When I go into tee-ball, I was so in love with the game and wanted to play for the rest of my life.
I played little league in Summerlin North Little League; and then I moved on to club ball. I played for the Las Vegas Rebels coached by Brian Schultz. I played for Ball Busters coached by Mike Bryant & Tony Gallo. I played for Las Vegas Venom coached by PJ Bevis and Evan Gruesel. I played for the Las Vegas Raptors coached by PJ Bevis. I played for Southern Nevada Baseball coached by Chris Sheff, and I played for CBA Vegas Rebels coached by Richard Ebarb.
” Austin is one of the strongest hardest working kids I have worked with. I have told him that he needs to continue to be the hardest working and most reliable and continue to do more than everyone else. Not just now but forever he is too good and too strong to beat. I know I have been coaching him since he was 11 years old. “ - Coach Chris Sheff
- Work Hard – Strive to be the best.
- Be A Team Player – The game is not about me it’s about the team.
- Good Mechanics – Continue to perfect my skill-sets.
- Workout & Train – I put in the work every day, in the gym and on the field.
I have been very lucky to train with some of the best coaches in Las Vegas as well as some of the best coaches and players in the world. I have taken hitting lesson with Mike Bryant (Father of Kris Bryant and Former Red Sox Player) Marty Barrett (Former Red Sox Second Baseman), Chris Sheff (Former Marlins Baseball Player). I had the pleasure to pitch with Greg Maddux at Bishop Gorman in the bullpen.
I continue to develop my skill-sets through my training with Chris Sheff.
